My post today is intended to serve as both an answer to that question and as an introduction to New Perspective Architects.

Our blog is going to serve as an outlet for us to tell our story. Though we are considerably biased, we feel that it is an interesting story and worth the effort if for no other reason to show who we are. This blog will be an opportunity for us to expose our young business to a wider audience, in hopes that current and future clients may learn of our increasing experience and additions of skills and abilities.

We don’t plan for this blog to simply be a journal of company business and accomplishments, but also a place for us to chronicle our personal hobbies and interests. Readers of our blog will be treated to self-deprecating humor as I chastise myself for owning a boat for 7 years that I’ve never put in a lake!

As the restoration of the boat, appropriately nicknamed the “Tooktoolong” progresses (slowly and painfully) this blog can serve as a showcase for our creative outlets outside of architecture. Matt likes alabaster sculpture and designing and building wood furniture. Since he's too lazy to do these things now that he has kids I can try to motivate him to finally do something again! ( I wrote this part after I showed him the posting!)

Another interesting subplot we intend to share are the trials and tribulations of running a small firm. As our readers and supporters come to share in our successes and failures, New Perspective Architects will become a common experience. One which we hope will serve as an example of how quick and sudden ideas can become vehicles to accomplish a great many things and ultimately a story of personal and professional success. (Well, we hope so anyway!)

So we invite you now to become a fan of our Blog, and a friend on Facebook, a colleague on LinkedIn or even follow us on Twitter (Brandon: bk_nparchitects & Matt: mb_nparchitects).

Until next time, we thank you for your time and wish you a good day.
